Thank you Baxter, and surrounding counties, for a GREAT
turnout this year. With the help of local churches, business, and various organizations, we were able to give out over 1,000
quality backpacks, 1,500 bags of grade specific school supplies, 2 bags of groceries per adult, almost 300 haircuts, over
600 portraits, and lots of medical testing, etc.. We also served over 3300 guests and over 800 volunteers a delicious sack
lunch with the areas BEST sloppy joe's!! Kids had a great time in the carnival-style atmosphere, and above all, people
were just loved unconditionally!
Convoy of Hope of the Ozarks is an exciting family event that is FREE and
is available to the residents of Mountain Home, AR and surrounding communities. Sponsored by local churches, this non-denominational
event will provide basic necessities and services to those in need and provide a practical way to show the community that
they are LOVED by God and us. This is a GREAT family event with multiple activities for kids and adults alike. This is a one-day
event on August 15, 2009 at 10:00AM, so be sure to mark your calenders and visit this site often for updated information.
